After the finalization of mural by Brazilian artist Fredone Fone, and with the news buzz about his residency in a remote village in the Balkan, more attention was brought back to the history of the movie and theater hall, on which facade the mural was done.
To many the idea of doing art in a place where almost all culture is gone, and the only thing that is left are memories of a rich history of its cultural center that played plays, held movie night, hosted folklore dance, was surprising.
But all this new action and effort in bringing art to this place, engage with the community, establishing communication that overcomes language and culture barriers was inspiring. It gave an additional push and helped the local community to secure more funds and finish the reparations on the building.

As nomadic space that moves from institutional to rural places where art is almost forgotten, it is intended to decentralize art and reach far remote areas where it is almost forgotten. To collect diverse ways of knowledge production. And seeing that this joint effort of couple of people contributed to this is amazing and motivating to push forward.
Artist’s menu is a call for unusual kinds of collaboration and exchanges as well as working and communicative systems in most unusual places. As a call for collaboration it is directed towards finding forgotten, less ordinary, unassuming, auxiliary...simply different ways to think, do, interpret, learn, collaborate and communicate.
